Generation of stimulated radiation in a dye solution on reflection from a nonlinear self-induced mirror

Abstract: A report is made of the formation of a phase reflection grating in a solution of a laser dye induced by the radiation emitted by the dye itself (the grating acts as a nonlinear reflector). The results are given of some investigations of the characteristics of the stimulated emission from a solution of rhodamine 6G in a resonator with an exit mirror in the form of a self-induced phase grating.
