Carbon dioxide pulsed laser excited by the double discharge method

Yu. I. Bychkov, V. V. Osipov, V. F. Tarasenko
Abstract: An investigation was made of the dependence of the laser output energy on the composition of the gas mixture and its pressure, as well as on the energy input into the gas and the initial voltage across the discharge cell. The dependence of the efficiency on the input energy was also determined. Oscillograms of the voltage and current pulses and of the output radiation pulses were obtained.
