Abstract: An analysis is made of the kinetics of hysteretic changes in the transverse fxeld structure in nonlinear interferometers resulting from the time dependence of the intensity of the incident radiation. It is shown that time-dependent changes in the beam profile can occur in an interferometer even when the incident beam is constant.
