Stability of compensation regimes for nonlinear distortions of beams with any polarization

L. A. Bol'shov, D. V. Vlasov, M. I. Persiantsev
Abstract: Conditions are analyzed for the stability of compensation for nonlinear distortions, by means of wavefront reversal for the four combinations of polarizations of opposite waves. It is shown that the most stringent requirements on the reflectivity of the wavefront reversal mirror are satisfied for linearly polarized waves. Problems of stability of polarization states of opposite pump waves in a medium with cubic nonlinearity are considered.
