Problem of analysis of N-speckle images of astronomical objects

Abstract:
An analysis is made of a possible solution of the problem of "seeing" through a turbulent atmosphere based on recording and processing of N-speckle images of an extended astronomical object. A modification of the Labeyrie speckle interferometry method is proposed. This modification can be used to reconstruct an image undistorted by the atmosphere from an N-speckle image of an extended object.
