Aperture tagging method in adaptive systems for focusing radiation

M. A. Vorontsov, V. I. Shmalgauzen
Abstract: An analysis is made of the efficiency of the method of aperture tagging in focusing of radiation in a nonlinear inhomogeneous medium. The relationship between the algorithm and the gradient optimization methods is studied. Practical schemes for the organization of control in adaptive focusing systems are proposed; these schemes do not require the use of multivibrators.
