Abstract:
A theoretical analysis is made of the phase-matching conditions needed for parametric generation of light in channel Ti-diffused waveguides formed in Y-cut LiNbO3. The wavelengths of the output radiation are calculated as a function of the structural parameters of a waveguide and the overlap integrals of the fields of the interacting modes governing the threshold power are found. The electrooptic tuning range of the phase matching in real channel LiNbO3:Ti waveguides is calculated.
