Vibrational energy transfer in systems with optical feedback

Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of a CO2 gasdynamic laser pumped additionally by its own radiation. It is found that the application of optical feedback makes it possible to increase the efficiency of converting thermal energy into radiation by 5–15%.
