Formation of regular structures by electrochemical deposition under the influence of optical radiation

E. K. Kozlova, A. I. Portnyagin, A. N. Romanchenko, A. E. Filippov
Abstract: A study was made of electrochemical deposition of copper from a cathode subjected to optical radiation. Characteristic spatially ordered discrete structures appeared on the surface of the cathode opposite to the illuminated side. The appearance and growth of these structures were observed only for a specific combination of the optical and electrical parameters of the system.
