Carbon monoxide laser with selective and nonselective resonators

V. P. Avtonomov, V. N. Ochkin, N. N. Sobolev, Yu. V. Troitskii, Yu. B. Udalov
Abstract: A study was made of the spectral composition of the radiation emitted by an electric-discharge CO laser. The operating regimes of a nonselective laser and of lasers having different types of selective resonator were compared. Selection of the CO laser transitions was carried out using a reflecting diffraction interferometer, which enabled the number of possible laser emission lines to be increased. A study was made of the characteristic features of the formation of the emission spectrum of a laser with a reflecting diffraction interferometer.
