Anisotropic diffraction-grating structures for integrated optical systems

Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of anisotropic phase diffraction gratings in thin-film waveguides. The results indicated that highly selective polarization filters and converters could be based on such gratings. Methods for the control of the parameters of anisotropic grating structures were also investigated.
