Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of the process of recording and fixing a phase relief in organic photochromic waveguides. The investigated process was used to record waveguide holograms and also to investigate their selective properties as well as the spatial distribution of the intensity in the reconstructed beam. Ways of increasing the selectivity of waveguide holograms were considered.
