Analysis of the energetics of a chemical oxygen–iodine laser

L. G. Vinogradova, M. V. Zagidullin, V. I. Igoshin, V. A. Katulin, N. L. Kupriyanov
Abstract: A kinetic model is developed for a cw chemical oxygen–iodine laser emitting at 1.315 μ. A calculation is made of the specific output energy of the laser and its dependence on the static gas pressure in the resonator, as well as on the rate of mixing of the components, is studied.
