Abstract: An analysis is made of a general basic configuration and of the transfer function of a fibre-optic transducer based on controlled coupling in a multilayer two-channel coaxial optical fibre. The influence of the structure parameters and of external factors on the errors of a sensitive element in such a transducer is considered. The results are given of an investigation of the characteristics of a number of transducers constructed in accordance with the basic configuration.
