Bistability in laser heating of chemically active media

D. T. Alimov, I. V. Edvabnyĭ, B. S. Luk'yanchuk, P. Kh. Khabibullaev
Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of the conditions under which thermochemical bistability is observed in systems exhibiting reversible reactions and subjected to the action of laser radiation. The main features of the dynamics of closed chemical reactors (no mass exchange) and of critical phenomena in such systems are considered.
