Kinetics of generation and amplification of YAG:Nd3+ laser radiation in a periodic Q-switched regime with pulsed pumping

N. N. Denisov, A. A. Manenkov, A. M. Prokhorov
Abstract: An experimental study was made of the process of giant pulse formation in a YAG:Nd3+ laser operating in a periodic Q-switched regime with pulsed pumping. The influence of superradiance on the amplitude and temporal characteristics of the radiation was analyzed.
