Full-text PDF (824 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: An investigation was made of the influence of the acidity of solutions on the absorption and luminescence spectra of dyes. Some of the ionic forms of dyes appeared only in the excited state. The rate of dissociation, lifetime of the molecules, and changes in the dissociation constants were determined for the excited states. Stimulated emission from photoprotolytic forms of dyes was observed.
