Single-frequency emission from a dye laser with a mixed lumped-distributed feedback
P. P. Pashinin, S. F. Raspopov, A. T. Sukhodol'skiĭ
Abstract:
A new method was developed for ensuring narrow-band emission from dye lasers as a result of simultaneous utilization of Bragg diffraction by a distributed periodic structure and of an external resonator formed from lumped components. This principle was used to construct a single-frequency laser with a long-term stability of at least 0.01 cm–1 and a spectral line width of a single pulse amounting to 120 MHz.
