Influence of line overlap on the spectral composition of radiation from an electronbeam- controlled CO laser

R. E. Bulavin, V. V. Buchanov, È. I. Molodykh
Abstract: The spectral composition of radiation from an electron-beam-controlled CO laser matching qualitatively the experimental data is calculated allowing for the dynamics of line overlap. As a result of this overlap, simultaneous lasing due to two rotational lines of the same vibrational level may be achieved.
