Angular and spectral selectivities of holographic reflection gratings formed in LiNbO3:Cu

Abstract: It is shown that holographic volume reflection gratings are characterized by a high spectral selectivity which is over an order of magnitude higher than the selectivity of transmission gratings, and that they are not inferior to the transmission gratings in respect of the angular selectivity which can be varied within wide limits.
