Instability and spontaneous oscillations of the temperature in a poiystable semiconductor Fabry–Perot interferometer with a thermal load

A. A. Zakharova, Yu. I. Balkareĭ, A. V. Grigor'yants
Abstract: Is is shown theoretically that a large number of unstable states may be exhibited and that lowfrequency spontaneous oscillations of the temperature and transmission may appear in a semiconductor Fabry–Perot interferometer which is in thermal contact with an absorbing plate. Various nonlinear temperature waves may form in a spatially extended system of this type.
