Optical recording of data in thermally sensitive copper salt films

Abstract: A study was made of the use of the thermal effect of optical radiation in recording (storing) data in thermally sensitive films of copper salts. The energy characteristics were determined and an estimate of the data recording rate was obtained. Feasibility of recording images obtained from a computer was demonstrated experimentally.
