Abstract: Streamer semiconductor lasers can be used for optical pumping of certain laser materials, such as dyes and semiconductors, and also in studies of photoluminescence of various substances with a high temporal and spatial resolution. A report is given of the use of radiation from a CdS streamer laser for optical pumping of a CdS0.5Se0.5 laser
