Estimates of the maximum permissible exposures to ultraviolet laser radiation
V. A. Ovsyannikov
Abstract:
It is shown that even low-intensity ultraviolet laser radiation may be a hazard to man because of nonthermal effects. Estimates are obtained of the maximum permissible exposures to such radiation. In the wavelength range λ =230–300 nm the maximum permissible daily exposure should be within the range 10–7–10–9 J/cm2.
