Full-text PDF (846 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A statistical analysis is made of the operation of a transmitting adaptive system utilizing optimal (in the sense of the maximum likelihood) algorithm for estimating phase distortions. Expressions are obtained for the dependence of the intensity distribution achieved as a result of adaptation on the signal/noise ratio.
