Calculation of the energy characteristics of large-aperture exciplex lasers

Abstract:
A file of programs written to deal with the input energy delivered by an electron beam, local kinetics of the active medium, and generation of radiation in an oscillator and an amplifier was used to calculate the output radiation energy and the efficiency of the active medium in the form of KrF, intended for a large-aperture end module of a facility of the AURORA type. The results indicated a linear increase in the efficiency of this module on increase in the pump current density up to 30 A/cm2.
