Holographic recording of transient signals with the aid of an uncompensated reference beam

Full-text PDF (583 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A method is considered in which Fourier holograms of transient signals are recorded using an uncompensated reference beam. Optical differentiation is employed in the image-reconstruction stage. It is shown that differentiation in the frequency plane makes it possible to ignore the motion of a scene during the time needed to record a hologram.
