Rate of transfer of radiant energy accompanied by evaporation of a disperse medium

Abstract: A theoretical investigation is made of the influence of the size distribution of drops on the velocity of a steady-state evaporation front which forms when radiation is incident on a disperse medium. The importance of energy losses is discussed. The possibility of using the approach based on water content alone is considered.
