Optimization of the parameters of LiNbO3:Ti channel waveguides for second harmonic generation

K. S. Buritskiĭ, E. M. Zolotov, V. A. Chernykh
Abstract: An experimental determination was made of the anisotropy of the increment in the refractive index of LiNbO3:Ti waveguides and the process of second harmonic generation in channel LiNbO3:Ti waveguides was analyzed. The phase matching angles and the overlap integrals of the interacting modes were calculated as a function of the refractive index increment and of the depth and width of the waveguide.
