Secondary scattering effects in volume holograms
A. P. Yakimovich
Abstract:
The effects which arise in the case of diffraction of reconstructed signal waves by gratings in a hologram are considered: distortion of the indicatrix of the signal waves and appearance of noise images displaced relative to the main image. The reasons for the appearance of these two effects are identified and quantitative estimates of their magnitude are obtained.
