Dynamic holograms formed in LiNbO3 crystals by the transverse photogalvanic effect

Full-text PDF (788 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: Dynamic holograms were formed in Z-cut LiNbO3:Fe crystals. Two beams with the "ordinary" polarization and mutually orthogonal electric field vectors were used for the first time to record a grating. The conditions for the occurrence of the normal and anisotropic diffraction were determined. An estimate was obtained of the component β22 of the photogalvanic effect tensor.
