Full-text PDF (644 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: An investigation was made of a chemical CS2+O2 laser with longitudinal electric excitation. The output energy was determined as a function of the energy of the initiating pulse, the degree of dilution of the mixture with helium, and the composition of the mixture. An output power of 4 kW in pulses of 4 μsec duration was obtained.
