Two-photon absorption in CdSxSe1–x single crystals

Abstract: A study was made of the influence of the composition of CdSxSe1–x single crystals on the two-photon absorption. A limit to the intensity of the light transmitted by a sample was found and the anisotropy of the two-photon absorption was discovered. The experimental results were in agreement with the theory.
