Possibility of a superconducting transition in a semiconductor subjected to high-power laser radiation

Abstract: A theoretical study is made of the electron–electron attraction in semiconductors due to exciton exchange in the presence of a high-power resonant optical field. An analysis of the conditions for the appearance of superconductivity with high critical temperatures is based on this attraction.
