Effects of laser radiation on matter. Laser plasma

Angular spectrum of plasma laser radiation influenced by features of the optical properties of the active medium

V. A. Volkov, V. K. Ladagin, F. A. Starikov, V. D. Urlin
Abstract: Calculations were made of the divergence of stimulated radiation in a laser plasma for various electron density profiles. A qualitative agreement was achieved between the calculated and experimental angular distributions of radiation due to Зр–Зs transitions in neon-like selenium assuming a homogeneous gain distribution in the active medium.
