Influence of rare gases on laser-chemical reactions. II. Experiments

Abstract: It was found that addition of He reduced, whereas addition of Xe increased the yield of the reaction BCl3+H2+hν=BHCl2+HCl. According to the theoretical representations, this dependence of the yield on the composition of the additive was evidence of the laser-chemical nature of the investigated reaction.
