Continuous lasing in La1–xNDxMgAl11O19 crystals

Abstract: Investigations were made of the spectroscopic and lasing properties of lanthanum neodymium magnesium hexa-aluminate crystals. Continuous lasing was obtained for the first time in these crystals in the 1.06 μ range at room temperature.
