Lasing of CF3I molecules in the 1-mm range

Abstract: Eight laser transitions were observed in the range 0.8–1.25 mm when CF3I vapor was pumped by radiation from a low-pressure CO2 laser. The observed infrared and millimeter transitions were identified.
