Gain in the 100–1000 Å range in a homogeneous stationary plasma

Abstract: Calculations are made of the gain in a multiply charged homogeneous stationary plasma due to transitions in neon-like ions in the 100–1000 Å wavelength range. The range of electron temperatures and densities for which the maximum gain is observed in the selected element is determined.
