Steady-state emission from a Y3Al5O12:Er3+ laser (λ =2.94 μ, T=300°K)

Kh. S. Bagdasarov, V. I. Zhekov, V. A. Lobachev, T. M. Murina, A. M. Prokhorov
Abstract: Experimental and theoretical studies demonstrated that steady-state emission was possible from an YAG:Er3+ laser utilizing the self-terminating 4I11/24I13/2 transition with a cross-relaxing lower level (4I13/2).
