Abstract: An investigation was made of the natural intensity fluctuations in single- and double-mode CO2 lasers. The profile and level of the natural intensity fluctuations were determined. It was shown that the main mechanism for the formation of natural intensity fluctuations was related to sources of field fluctuations.
