Characteristics of lasing under conditions of mutual phase conjugation of radiation from two independent lasers in a medium with a local response

Abstract:
A theoretical investigation is made of the generation of conjugated radiation as a result of mutual phase conjugation of beams from independent lasers. It is shown that efficient operation of a system of double phase conjugation in media with a local response is possible also in the absence of an internal amplifier if certain relationships are obeyed by the difference between the frequencies of the input radiations and by the geometry of the system.
