Optically pumped molecular laser utilizing C2H5Br and C2H5J halogen derivatives of ethane

V. A. Bugaev, È.-U. P. Shliteris
Abstract: The observation of 15 lasing transitions in the 327.6–1059 μ range by pumping C2H5Br and C2H5J vapor with radiation from a low-pressure CO2 laser is reported. The laser optoacoustic spectrum of the molecules and the absorption spectra are presented. The rotational quantum numbers J of the observed transitions are identified.
