Dependence of the power of a chemical CO laser on the reaction mixture flow rate

Abstract: Operation of a chemical CO laser was studied experimentally as a function of the flow rate of a CS2–N2O–O2 working mixture pumped through the optical resonator cavity. A cw laser radiation power of ~ 730 W was reached at a gas flow rate of about 25 g/s.
