Abstract: Low-threshold stimulated radiation emitted by Pr3+ ions in an LiYF4 crystal was observed for the first time at 300 К when the crystal was pumped by flashlamp radiation. The wavelength of the emitted radiation was 0.7206 μm and it was due to the 3P03P4 transition.
