Control of laser radiation parameters

Influence of stationary phase fluctuations on locking in dynamic systems

Abstract: An analysis is made of locking in a ring laser in the case when a random external perturbation is in the form of stationary phase fluctuations. It is shown that in a wide range of noise intensities there is a locking band within which the average difference between the phases of the counterpropagating waves remains practically constant.
