Range stabilization of the optical frequency in a doubly resonant optical parametric oscillator

Abstract:
A theory of the frequency stability is developed for a ring doubly resonant optical parametric oscillator. It is shown that fluctuations of the output frequencies associated with technical fluctuations of the resonator parameters and fluctuations of the pump frequency can be largely suppressed.
