Suppression of fluctuations of the intensity of radiation emitted by semiconductor lasers

Abstract:
A calculation is reported of suppression of intensity fluctuations by power supply feedback both in a feedback loop and in a channel where stabilized radiation is used. The optimal set of parameters is determined. A description is given of experiments on a multifrequency semiconductor laser of the ILPN-204 type and it is shown that the results are in satisfactory agreement with the conclusions of a theoretical analysis.
