Pulse-periodic Nd:YAlO3 laser with a phase-locked aperture under conditions of phase conjugation by stimulated Brillouin scattering

Abstract:
A comparison was made of the quality of phase locking of beams by different systems of phase conjugation due to stimulated Brillouin scattering. The quality was studied as a function of thermooptic aberrations induced in an amplifier with a composite active element. A numerical analysis was made of the precision of determination of the phase mismatch. A pulse-periodic YAl crystal laser system with a synthesized aperture and an output power up to 20 W was constructed.
