Theoretical investigation of the stability of the parameters of radiation reflected by a phase-conjugating mirror based on stimulated Brillouin scattering

M. G. Galushkin, A. I. Troitskiĭ
Abstract: An analysis is made of the stability of the parameters of the radiation reflected from a stimulated Brillouin scattering mirror when the intensity, width of the spectrum, and pump pulse duration exhibit fluctuations. It is shown that the highest stability of the intensity of the reflected signal can be expected for a high reflection coefficient and this stability increases with the pulse duration.
